Wind and Tide is a group of 30 daycares in the Vancouver, B.C. area who support the same philosophy towards childhood as Por Los Ninos – every child deserves rich, life enhancing knowledge.
We are honored to be their chosen charity to for their annual Dance A Thon.
The Dance A Thon March 13th and 14th 2024
Wind and Tide will create a curriculum built on these 4 pillars of learning.
1. The difference between things we *want* and things we *need*.
2. The *need* for food. Rice and Beans program
3. The need for safe shelter. New school buildings
4. The need for education. (Rachel Program)
RACHEL (Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning) is a portable, battery-powered, device that contains copies of educational websites in offline format operated by World Posible (www.worldposible.org). This means schools located in a remote area of Zihuatanejo, will now have access to education that does not rely upon continuous Wi-Fi internet or power
