Rice and Beans Raffle 2022
Ten years ago we began this raffle to support the students at Casa Para Niños del Pacífico
We are right full with 120 students enrolled now. Food costs have risen substantially here as well but wages have not increased… During Covid we were spending $246 pesos for a basic food hamper for a family for two weeks. Today that same food hamper is $360 pesos. When the minimum daily wage is only $176 pesos that’s not much leeway.
The prizes for this year’s raffle are:

Tickets are a US$50 donation per ticket and are paid online https://porlosninos.com/donations/. Tickets go quickly so don’t hesitate. Last year they were gone in less than 24 hours.
