Preparations are underway for another great Sailfest. We have already confirmed 14 Sailboats are on their way. Usually we don’t know until the week of Sailfest just how many boats are joining us but we are excited. 76 volunteers have already committed to attend.
We are still in code green and they continue to vaccinate. This week 15 to 17 year olds and they will start to offer the third shot to the over 60´s , including tourists if they want them.
The Rice and Beans raffle came and went in a record time of 20 hours with some happy winners. Those funds will ensure Casa Para Ninos can continue to offer hot meals to the students and every family will receive a food hamper with all the fixings for Christmas dinner. We had more than a few benevolent donors donate so all the children will receive a gift for Christmas. The students are thrilled to be back in school. Not all our schools are full time, in person, learning situations but slowly we are returning to normal.
The magic of the holidays is everywhere with parades and parties. We wish you the very best from all three of our charities.
